SML
The Scenario Markup Language (SML), developed at the National Institute of Informatics, is a powerful scripting language for authoring realistic traffic situations. This effort is part of a novel framework for automatically generating complex scenarios with static and dynamic elements, such as car accidents. SML facilitates the scripting of driving behavior studies in networked multi-user online three-dimensional (3D) virtual worlds.
SML will be available for download by mid 2012.
The first version of SML is described in the following paper.
